Insidious: Chapter 2 - This contemporary, gothic horror tale is a sequel to the 2011 Insidious, which told of a world created inside a wounded child’s mind. This time you enter the dad’s demented mind. Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne are back in their roles as the Lambert family struggles with the supernatural world of darkness as they uncover the childhood secret that connects them to the spirit world. It is said that the creep factor for Insidious: Chapter 2 has been increased 1000 percent. 

Carrie had its original version in 1976, a sequel in 1999, and a TV movie in 2002. Carrie covered in blood is expected to again score big. Julianne Moore and Chloe Grace Moretz are highly accomplished actresses starring in spooky roles.

 

You're Next – Preparing to celebrate their anniversary, Aubrey Davison (Barbara Crampton) and Paul (Rob Moran) have sent invitations to their children to come to their country mansion to share in the partying. The first arrivals are Crispian (A.J. Bowen) who brings his girlfriend Erin (Sharni Vinson). Later, as they all sit at the dinner table, a crossbow arrow flies through the window; the family is under attack. The savage masked invaders wear eerie animal masks, and no one knows the motive behind their wanting to slaughter everyone in the house. Erin is the one with the survival skills needed to strike back at the attackers with deadly force.

Big Ass Spider - A huge, 50-foot tall alien spider rampages through Los Angeles after escaping from a military lab. A massive military strike fails, and it becomes up to a team of soldiers, scientists, and an exterminator to figure out how to kill the creature before it wipes the city off the map. Great special effects makes this a must-see.

 

Gravity - Although not in the Horror category, this movie is indeed a scary.  science fiction thriller. with Sandra Bullock, on her first shuttle mission, and George Clooney, a veteran astronaut, are left alone and tethered only to each other after an accident wipes out the crew on their space station and the shuttle is destroyed. Spiraling out into the blackness with little oxygen left, they realize that the only chance of going home may be to travel even further into the fearsome expanse of space.
