The newest generation of the Kia Cadenza has received a lot of work since its last iteration. As Kia continues to evolve toward a premium brand, efforts like the 2017 Cadenza will begin to define the brand’s design strategy as one that points toward premium and utilizes strong and consistent design features to create a comprehensive overall aesthetic. The short video below features Peter Schreyer, Kia Motors’ CDO, as he explains the ideas behind the 2017 Kia Cadenza’s design language. Check it out!

“The new Cadenza adds an extra dose of excitement to the large-car segment with its striking, aggressively handsome looks and premium refinements. Everything you see and touch in the Cadenza’s cabin has been improved, but it’s underneath where the Cadenza truly shines with a stiffer and lighter chassis, eight-speed transmission and vastly improved driving dynamics.” – Orth Hedrick, vice president of product planning, Kia Motors America.

Taking a peek behind the curtain at the design language that shapes Kia’s 2017 Cadenza is like seeing a magician’s secrets. Here at McCafferty Kia of Mechanicsburg, we’re excited to see where this sort of design language takes Kia in the coming years. We’d like to invite you down to our Mechanicsburg showroom when the 2017 Kia Cadenza is released later in 2016 to see the magic that comes from such beautiful design. You can watch every video there is, but it won’t ever compare to being inside a 2017 Kia Cadenza of your own.
