While most people think of solid, affordable vehicles when the name "Kia" is mentioned, the Kee is a sports coupe that breaks the status quo. And leave it to Kia to do that with an astounding entry into the sports market.
Sexy Body Styling of the Kia Kee Concept Car
The first thing that's evident when you feast your eyes on the Kia Kee concept car is that the South Korean company has spent considerable time in its design. Its lines are smooth, without being too flashy. The rear window is a slim slit, which provides a better view than you might think. The look may not be perfect -- the fenders leave something to be desired, for example -- but since this is a concept car, small issues may be tweaked before it goes into production. But even without any changes, few will complain.
Comfortable Interior in the Kia Kee
As with the typical sports coupe, the Kia Kee concept car fits four quite comfortably. The seats are nice and stylish, not too fancy yet not basic, either. There is plenty of foot room for everyone. The dashboard is big and bright, and includes retro-styled toggle switches for the panel controls, which is a nice touch. Of course, as is typical with a concept car, not all the technology has been announced as of yet, but we can be sure to expect Bluetooth functionality, exceptional sound, cruise, and a number of other functions and options. All of these are sure to be in line with what consumers expect from both Kia and modern technology.
Solid Performance for a Sports Coupe
When it comes to a sports coupe, what many consumers are immediately curious about is the machine's performance. After all, that's why many people purchase these cars in the first place. They want a car that purrs, and the Kia Kee concept car definitely excites in that department. Lurking under the hood is a 2.7-liter V-6 that delivers 197 horsepower. This performance is in keeping with other cars of its type, and according to Kia, the Kee's engine will deliver a response, flexibility, and overall performance that will appease any sports coupe fan. Let's hope that this car goes into production quickly so that we may see for ourselves.
